Hyderabad: The Telangana government has launched a special help center in New Delhi to support its citizens stuck in border states after recent military activity between India and Pakistan.

Many people from Telangana were visiting Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Kashmir for business, religious trips, or vacations when tensions escalated. Because of the situation, the Indian government has restricted movement in these areas, and several flights have been canceled. This left many people stranded.

To assist, a 24/7 control room is now active at Telangana Bhavan in Delhi. It is working to collect details about those affected and coordinating with local officials to arrange transport back home. The focus is on helping those stuck at airports and in remote areas due to sudden travel disruptions.

Tourists in Rajasthan and Kashmir are also facing long delays at airports. The state is organizing alternative travel options to bring them home safely. Officials are also paying close attention to students from Telangana who study in universities and institutes near the border. These include major institutions like IITs and management colleges. Ensuring their safety is a top priority.
