Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm at its Khairatabad headquarters on Friday.
Ashok Reddy, the Managing Director, was the chief guest. He raised the national flag and led the gathering in singing the National Anthem. He warmly wished all Water Board customers and staff a happy Independence Day. Reddy also remembered the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and encouraged everyone to work hard for the country’s growth.
The celebration saw participation from Executive Director Mayank Mittal, Technical Director Sudarshan, Personnel Director Mohammad Abdul Khader, Chief Vigilance Officer Gyanender Reddy, Chief General Managers, union leaders, representatives, officials, and staff.
The event highlighted the unity and teamwork within the organization. Employees from different departments joined the celebrations. The program ended with a strong commitment from the Water Board to serve the public effectively and uphold national values.
