Mahabubnagar: Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) introduced two new bikes, the Honda CB125 Hornet and Honda Shine 100 DX, at a special event at the Narmada Honda showroom in Mahabubnagar on Wednesday.
RTA MVI P. Raghukumar and K. Vasudeva Rao attended as chief guests and launched the bikes.
The Honda CB125 Hornet is designed for sports enthusiasts. It features a 5-speed gearbox, Silent Start ACG, and a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth for calls, SMS alerts, and navigation. It includes USB charging, LED headlights, alloy wheels, mono-shock suspension, and a front disc ABS braking system. With a ground clearance of 166 mm, it offers a mileage of 54.2 kmpl and goes from 0 to 60 km/h in 5.14 seconds. The ex-showroom price is ₹1,12,000 and the on-road price is ₹1,36,495.
The Honda Shine 100 DX is aimed at family users. It has a 100cc engine, 4-speed gearbox, and meets OBD-2B standards. It includes a digital cluster, side-stand engine cut-off, stylish graphics, and alloy wheels. It promises low maintenance with a mileage of 65 kmpl, making it a cost-effective choice for daily rides. The ex-showroom price is ₹75,950 and the on-road price is ₹92,172.
Dealer B. Venugopal Singh mentioned that the Honda CB125 Hornet is ideal for sports bike lovers, while the Shine 100 DX offers great mileage for families at an affordable cost. Showroom Manager B. Baleshwar Reddy is confident about strong customer interest in these models.
