Hyderabad: Telangana voters can now check the 2026 Special Intensive Revision (SIR) draft electoral roll online through the Election Commission of India’s voter services portal. The online facility allows voters to download constituency- and polling-station-wise electoral roll PDFs and verify whether their names and details appear in the draft roll.
The Election Commission’s voter services portal provides a dedicated Download Electoral Roll option for accessing electoral roll PDFs, including draft rolls prepared under the SIR exercise.
How to Download Telangana SIR Draft Electoral Roll 2026
Voters can follow these steps to check and download the electoral roll for their area:
- Visit the Election Commission voter services portal at voters.eci.gov.in.
- From the services available on the portal, select Download Electoral Roll. The service is described by the ECI as a facility to download electoral roll PDFs, including draft rolls for states covered under SIR.
- Under the State option, select Telangana.
- Under Year of Revision, select 2026.
- Under Roll Type, select SIR DraftRoll – 2026.
- Select your District from the list.
- After selecting the district, choose the relevant Assembly Constituency (AC).
- Select the required language in which you want to download the electoral roll.
- Enter the captcha displayed on the screen and proceed.
- The portal will display the available polling-station or part-wise electoral roll options for the selected constituency.
- Select the required polling station/part number and click Download to obtain the electoral roll PDF.
What the Downloaded PDF Contains
The electoral roll PDF contains detailed information about the relevant polling station and the voters registered in that part. The sample Telangana SIR 2026 roll shown on the ECI portal includes the Assembly Constituency name and number, Parliamentary Constituency, part number, polling station details and number of electors.
The PDF can also contain the names of sections covered by the polling part and the electoral details of voters listed under that particular polling station.
Check Your Name and Voter Details
After downloading the PDF, voters should check their name, electoral serial number and other relevant details. It is important to select the correct district, Assembly Constituency and polling-station part because electoral rolls are provided separately for different parts.
For example, an electoral roll PDF displayed on the portal identifies the Assembly Constituency, part number, polling station and the total number of electors before listing the electoral information.
Telangana SIR 2026 Schedule
According to the Election Commission’s SIR schedule, Telangana was included in the group of states for the 2026 revision, with October 1, 2026 as the qualifying date in the schedule published by the Commission. The published schedule provided for the draft electoral roll, followed by a period for claims and objections and subsequent finalisation of the roll.
The Election Commission has also issued instructions explaining the SIR process, including the role of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in house-to-house enumeration and the process for submitting electoral forms.
