Hyderabad: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has launched the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Telangana from June 25, 2026. As part of the exercise, eligible voters can submit their Enumeration Form (EF) online through the ECI Voters Portal to verify their electoral details and ensure their names remain in the voter list.
The online facility allows voters to complete the process from home, provided they meet certain prerequisites.
Who Needs to Fill the Enumeration Form?
The Enumeration Form is part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise conducted by the Election Commission to verify voter records and map electors with the electoral rolls prepared during the last Special Intensive Revision (SIR) conducted in 2002.
Prerequisites Before Filling the Form
Before starting the online application, ensure the following requirements are fulfilled:
- Your mobile number must be linked to your Voter ID (EPIC).
- If your mobile number is not linked, submit Form 8 through the Voters Portal to update it. The update is generally reflected quickly.
- Your name on the EPIC should exactly match the name on your Aadhaar card.
- Keep your EPIC number and Aadhaar number ready.
- Your Aadhaar-linked mobile number should be active to receive OTP for e-sign.
Step 1: Login to the Voters Portal
Visit the official Election Commission Voters Portal:
https://voters.eci.gov.in
If you already have an account, log in using your credentials. New users must first complete the Sign Up process.
Step 2: Search Your Name
After logging in, the dashboard provides two important options:
- Search Your Name in Voter List
- Search Your Name in Last SIR
To search your details in the 2002 Special Intensive Revision electoral roll:
- Select your State
- Select your District
- Select your Assembly Constituency
- Select your Polling Station
You can then search:
- Your own name
- Mother’s name
- Father’s name
- Grandfather’s name
- Grandmother’s name
If your name is not available, you may search using your parents’ or grandparents’ details.
Step 3: Click ‘Fill Enumeration Form’
Once your search is complete, click on the “Fill Enumeration Form” button available on the portal.
You will be redirected to the online Enumeration Form submission page.
Step 4: Enter EPIC Number
Select your state, enter your EPIC (Voter ID) Number and click Search.
The system will automatically fetch your pre-filled Enumeration Form containing your voter details.
Step 5: Verify Mobile Number Using OTP
Enter the 10-digit mobile number linked with your EPIC and click on Send OTP.
After entering the OTP, the portal will display three options for mapping your voter record.
Step 6: Map Your Details with the Last SIR (2002)
Select one of the following options:
- My name exists in the Electoral Roll of the Last SIR.
- My parent’s (Mother/Father/Grandfather/Grandmother) name exists in the Last SIR Electoral Roll.
- Neither my name nor my parent’s name exists in the Last SIR Electoral Roll.
Depending on your selection, you will be asked to provide the required details for yourself or your family members whose names appear in the 2002 electoral roll.
Step 7: Complete Personal Details
Fill in all required information carefully.
Important: Uploading your photograph is optional and is not mandatory during this step.
After entering all information, preview your form carefully and verify that every detail is correct before proceeding.
Step 8: Aadhaar e-Sign
After clicking Submit, you will be redirected to the Aadhaar e-Sign page.
Enter your Aadhaar number and verify the OTP received on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
Upon successful verification, your Enumeration Form will be digitally signed and submitted to the Election Commission.

Important Points to Remember
- Ensure your mobile number is linked to your EPIC before starting.
- The name on your EPIC should match your Aadhaar exactly.
- Photo upload is optional.
- Aadhaar e-Sign is mandatory for successful online submission.
- If your mobile number is not linked to your EPIC, first submit Form 8 to update it.
Why the SIR Exercise is Important
The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) is intended to improve the accuracy of electoral rolls by verifying voter records, updating personal information and mapping electors with earlier electoral rolls wherever applicable. The Election Commission has advised all eligible voters in Telangana to complete the process within the stipulated timeline to ensure their electoral records remain updated.
For assistance, voters can also contact their local Booth Level Officer (BLO), Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), or visit the nearest MeeSeva centre if they face any issues during the online submission process.
