Rangareddy: Officials from the Hyderabad Road Development Corporation Ltd (HRDCL) are preparing to start several road-laying projects in the Rajendranagar constituency of Ranga Reddy district, as the rainy season comes to an end.
On Tuesday, HRDCL officials met with MLA T Prakash Goud at his residence in Mailardevpally. They discussed the details of how to implement these projects in the Shamshabad and Narsingi municipalities, which fall under the Rajendranagar constituency.
The meeting focused on reviewing road works with a total budget of Rs.200.25 crore. Out of this, Rs.144 crore has been approved for road development in Shamshabad municipality, while Rs.56.25 crore has been allocated for the Narsingi municipality.
In Shamshabad, some major projects include a road from the Shamshabad railway crossing to Bharmagiri, which will cost Rs.60 crore. Another road from the Shamshabad bus stop to Oasis International School in Rallaguda will be built with a budget of Rs.48 crore. The meeting also discussed a road connecting National Highway No.44 to Tondupally junction.
In Narsingi, the officials talked about a road project for the ORG service way connecting a link road, with a budget of Rs.13 crore. Additionally, a road from Neo Police Layout in Kokapet to Pipeline Road, costing Rs.35 crore, will be built to improve the area.
The MLA and officials also reviewed an Rs.8 crore project to build a link road connecting Birappa temple to Pipeline Road. MLA Prakash Goud urged the officials to follow rules, ensure quality, and complete the projects on time, so that the roads can be opened to the public as soon as possible.
