Omnicom Group, a global media, marketing, and communications company, will be setting up a large Global Capability Center in Hyderabad. This move is expected to create over 2,500 new job opportunities.

Minister KT Rama Rao and his delegation met with Omnicom’s leadership team in New York on Thursday. This announcement highlights the city’s growing presence in the media industry.

Minister Rama Rao expressed his enthusiasm for this partnership, stating that the discussions with Omnicom’s leadership team have rapidly progressed since their initial meeting in May. He is pleased to see Omnicom’s plans align with the vision of fostering innovation and growth in the media sector.

Zaid Al Rashid, Global Executive Vice President of Digital Operations at Omnicom Group, confirmed that Hyderabad was chosen as the location for the new Global Capability Center. With operations in 100 countries, this decision further solidifies India’s strategic importance in the global media landscape.
