Telangana Government Approves 700 Acres for Adilabad Airport Development

Adilabad: The Telangana government has approved the acquisition of 700 acres of land for the development of Adilabad Airport, in coordination with the Airports Authority of India (AAI).

According to officials, the AAI’s feasibility report confirmed the project’s viability, paving the way for the next phase of groundwork. The District Collector has been directed to initiate the land acquisition process to expedite the airport’s development.

The proposed airport is expected to boost regional connectivity, promote economic growth, and improve tourism and trade opportunities in northern Telangana.
