Hyderabad: Police in Hyderabad caught four people selling ganja near the Mission Model School in Bollaram. They found 3.8 kg of ganja with them.

The main person arrested was Tamata Sanjay, also known as Tuna, who has a history of 24 criminal cases. He was a key dealer and financer. Another arrested was Tamata Shiva Singh, a transporter and peddler involved in 12 past criminal cases. Two others were Jwala Deepanshu Kumar, known as Bad Boy, and Ravula Naresh. Their main supplier, Subba Rao from Araku, is still at large.

The police stated that Sanjay and Shiva are cousins. Sanjay and Deepanshu, being close friends, wanted to make money quickly to support their extravagant lifestyle. They decided to bring ganja from Araku to sell in Hyderabad for easy profits.

They sent Shiva and Ravula to get the ganja from their usual supplier, Subba Rao, planning to sell it in Balajinagar, Yapral, Awal, Bollarum, and Tirumalgherry areas.

Based on a tip-off, police captured Deepanshu and Naresh with 2.3 kg of ganja, and later caught Shiva and Sanjay with another 1.5 kg.
