The Telangana State Government wants to use a new technology called ChatGPT to improve the way they govern. ChatGPT can be used for things like human resources, citizen outreach, productivity stories, email construction, and document translation. However, it does have some limitations. Despite this, the State Government thinks that using ChatGPT will make things more transparent and efficient, as well as help them fix problems for people more quickly.

Some State officials will meet with Microsoft, who provides the ChatGPT services, to come up with a plan for how to use it in the administration. ChatGPT can also help keep official data safe and up to date. They are also considering using it to make audio and video solutions and document official information.

The State Government is still working out how they will use ChatGPT in the administration, and they think that they will have a better idea of how to use it after they meet with Microsoft. They are currently looking at how ChatGPT has been used in the USA and Europe and will analyze its impact on the government’s functioning.

The government already uses some AI technologies in departments like Transport, Commercial taxes, and civic services, mainly tax collections. The government wants to use ChatGPT for things like civic services, property registrations, and online solutions for people’s complaints. They plan to upgrade existing AI technologies with ChatGPT once there is an agreement between Microsoft and the state.
