A tragic incident took place in the Rallaguda city suburb on Wednesday night. A 55-year-old woman named Chandrakala was allegedly killed by her son, Prakash, in their home.
Prakash, who is 35 years old and works as an agricultural laborer, was known for his drinking habits. He often argued with his mother over small issues.
On Wednesday night, while Chandrakala was asleep, Prakash allegedly attacked her. He used a stick and an LPG gas cylinder to assault her. Sadly, she died on the spot.
Neighbors, upon realizing what had happened, immediately informed the police. The authorities arrived at the scene and sent Chandrakala’s body for an autopsy.
Meanwhile, Prakash fled after the incident, and the police are now searching for him. The RGIA police have started an investigation into the case.
