A man was arrested in Kalapather, Hyderabad, for illegally selling banned e-cigarettes from his home. The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (South East) took action on Wednesday and seized e-cigarettes worth ₹2.52 lakh.

The suspect was identified as 20-year-old Mohammed Waqaruddin, a resident of Kalapather. Police investigations revealed that he was working with his associate, Laksh Goel, also known as Skylab, from Hussainialam. They were getting the banned e-cigarettes from a supplier named Rahul, who is based in Delhi.

Authorities found that the illegal products were shipped from Delhi to Hyderabad using courier services. After receiving the shipments, the suspects distributed the e-cigarettes to customers in the city.
