Hyderabad on high alert as IMD issues orange warning

Hyderabad is set to have very hot weather as the India Meteorological Department-Hyderabad has issued an orange alert. This alert will last until Sunday and means there will be an increase in average maximum temperatures, ranging from 41 to 45 degrees Celsius.

The city has already been feeling the heat, with some areas reaching scorching temperatures. Ziaguda recorded 43.2 degrees Celsius, followed by Rein Bazar at the same temperature on Tuesday. Langar Houz and Madhapur also experienced high temperatures, hitting 43 degrees Celsius each. However, there may be some relief in sight. IMD-Hyderabad officials are forecasting a drop in temperatures and the possibility of rain during the third week of May.
