Hyderabad Police Arrest Trio for Phone Thefts

The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force, East Zone team, with the help of Kachiguda police, caught three people involved in stealing mobile phones.

The accused are Ch Vardhan alias Chintu (19), Suthari Ganesh (19), and Motha Narsimha alias Sonu (22). The police took a mobile phone and a bike from them, worth a total of Rs 2 lakh.

According to the police, all three individuals are from Musheerabad. They were friends who met regularly and were addicted to alcohol.

The police stated that Vardhan planned to steal valuables. On the nights of July 31 and August 1, after drinking alcohol, the three men left Musheerabad on a bike to commit a crime. When they arrived near Telangana Yuvathi Mandali, Barkatpura, they targeted a laborer who was putting up posters. A pillion rider snatched the laborer’s mobile phone, and they sped away. The police registered a case after receiving the complaint.

Based on credible information, the police caught the accused and recovered the stolen mobile phone from them.
