Hyderabad prepares for rainfall as GHMC issues safety guidelines

The GHMC has issued safety guidelines for Hyderabad as rainfall is expected. Officials advise citizens to be vigilant and contact the Disaster Response Force in case of issues. The IMD predicts light to moderate rains in Hyderabad and Telangana for the next four days, with a yellow alert for Monday in various districts.

GHMC’s EV and DM have issued safety guidelines, recommending citizens to stay updated on weather conditions and help vulnerable neighbors. It’s advised to avoid unnecessary travel during hazardous weather and drive cautiously. Stay away from dangerous areas like nalas and power lines, reporting any fallen wires promptly.

In case of rain-related problems, citizens should contact the DRF for assistance. Light to moderate rains are expected in Hyderabad and Telangana for the next four days. A yellow alert is in place for Monday in districts like Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, and Medchal Malkajgiri. GHMC advises staying informed, helping neighbors, and avoiding risky areas during rainfall.
