The Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP) held a protest at Taj Krishna Hotel in Hyderabad. The protest was aimed at demanding the immediate removal of Hyderabad MP, Asaduddin Owaisi, from the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the Waqf (Amendment Bill) 2024.

On Saturday, a delegation from the VHP submitted a formal complaint to the JPC. The committee had visited the city to gather opinions and feedback from the public and other stakeholders regarding the Waqf Amendment Bill. They were holding their meeting at Taj Krishna Hotel.

The VHP accused MP Asaduddin Owaisi and his followers of violating rules during the JPC’s discussions. VHP national spokesperson, Dr. Ravinuthala Shashidar, raised these concerns and called for immediate action against the MP. It is important to note that Asaduddin Owaisi is also a member of the JPC.
