HYDRAA has introduced a completely digital platform for Fire NOC applications, eliminating the need for citizens to visit its office for fire safety clearances. The new system, launched by HYDRAA Commissioner A.V. Ranganath, allows residents and businesses to apply for new Fire NOCs, process renewals, upload required documents, make online fee payments, and download digital approval certificates through a dedicated web portal. This digital transformation marks a significant step toward streamlining administrative processes in the Hyderabad metropolitan area.
The online facility enables applicants to complete the entire process from their homes or offices without physical visits to government offices. Users can submit new applications for Fire NOC, apply for renewals of existing certificates, upload all necessary documentation digitally, and complete fee payments through online payment gateways. Once approved, applicants can directly download their digital certificates from the portal, making the entire process paperless and efficient.
Despite the shift to a fully online application system, HYDRAA has maintained that mandatory field inspections will continue to be conducted before issuing approvals. This ensures that physical verification of fire safety measures and compliance with regulations remains intact, balancing digital convenience with on-ground safety standards. The inspection process will be coordinated through the online system, with officials scheduling site visits based on digital applications.
The Fire NOC online service, which was previously available only within the GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) limits, has now been expanded to cover a wider geographical area. The facility is now accessible to residents and establishments in the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation areas, all of which fall under the CURE region administered by HYDRAA. This expansion significantly increases the number of citizens who can benefit from the digital service.
Applicants can access the new online Fire NOC system through the official portal at https://hydraafirenoc.telangana.gov.in. The portal provides step-by-step guidance for both new applications and renewals, along with information about required documents, fee structures, and processing timelines. The digital initiative is part of the broader effort to modernize government services and reduce bureaucratic delays in Telangana.
