Khammam: Bhukya Ganesh, a young Congress party worker from Mekala Thanda village in Karepally mandal, has said he will only fix his wedding date if Chief Minister Revanth Reddy agrees to attend.
Ganesh is a dedicated Congress member and currently serves as the Pradhan Mandal Youth leader. He has great admiration for CM Revanth Reddy, which is why he wants the Chief Minister to be part of his big day.
Although Ganesh got engaged to a girl from Mahabubabad district on March 6, he has not yet decided on a wedding date. He says he will only choose a date based on the Chief Minister’s availability.
Despite pressure from his family, Ganesh remains firm in his decision. He says he will not go ahead with the wedding unless CM Revanth Reddy can attend.
Ganesh has even submitted a formal request to Wyra MLA Ramdas Naik, asking him to invite CM Revanth Reddy and three local Congress ministers to his wedding.
The people of Ganesh’s village, Thanda, are also supporting his request and are hoping the Chief Minister and other leaders will come to bless the couple.
