Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has announced important dates and details for private candidates who want to be exempted from college attendance and appear for the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Exams (IPASE) in May or June 2025. This is specifically for students taking humanities or arts subjects.
The board has released the supplementary exam schedule. These exams will take place from May 22 to May 29, while the practical exam is scheduled for June 3.
TGBIE officials clarified that students from science streams are not eligible for attendance exemption. This policy has been in place since September 1997.
Private candidates applying for the exemption must pay a fee of Rs 500. This fee is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted later, even if the candidate is found ineligible. The last date to pay the exemption fee is April 28.
Applicants must submit complete applications, including original copies of the qualifying examination certificate, Transfer Certificate, and Migration Certificate. Students who completed their qualifying exam outside of Telangana (other than S.S.C.) must also include an Eligibility Certificate. Incomplete applications or those missing these documents will be rejected without any further notice.
Private candidates who get the exemption and are appearing for 1st or 2nd year exams for the first time must follow the same syllabus as regular students. They must apply for the exemption online by visiting the official website table.cgg.gov.in and upload scanned copies of the required original documents.
