Hyderabad: The Institute of Insurance and Risk Management (IIRM) in Hyderabad celebrated its Convocation Ceremony on Saturday at the Sheraton Hotel in Gachibowli. This event was a significant moment as students from the PGDM 2023–25 batch received their degrees amidst dignitaries, faculty, parents, and alumni.
The Director of IIRM highlighted the institute’s dedication to shaping professionals equipped to lead with innovation, excellence, and ethics in insurance and risk management.
M. Rajeshwar Rao, Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, served as the Chief Guest. He stressed the importance of sustainable finance and effective risk management in the financial sector’s future.
Rajeshwar Rao noted that a healthy financial sector is key to the growth of real sectors. He also mentioned that the insurance industry plays a crucial role in achieving the vision of Vikasit Bharat.
Rajay Kumar Sinha, a member of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), attended as the Guest of Honour. He discussed the growing opportunities in insurance and financial services, urging graduates to innovate and adapt in their careers.
