Hyderabad: IIT Madras Incubation Cell (IITMIC) and VIT-AP Technology Business Incubator Foundation (VTBIF) have joined hands to support deep-tech startups in India. They signed an agreement to work together in helping new companies grow and succeed in the field of advanced technology.
This partnership aims to build a stronger innovation environment by nurturing and speeding up the development of startups that focus on deep technology. These startups usually work on complex tech solutions such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and advanced materials.
The agreement was signed in the presence of important representatives from both institutions. From VIT-AP, Dr. S V Kota Reddy (Vice Chancellor), B Nagarjuna (Director of VTBIF), and Dr. Ameet Chavan (Director of VIT-AP IIEC) were present. Representing IITMIC were Prof. S Mohanasankar (Professor-in-Charge and Director), Dr. Tamaswati Ghosh (CEO), and Jaya Umadikar (Chief Incubation Officer).
This collaboration is expected to open up more opportunities for entrepreneurs and boost India’s presence in the global deep-tech space.
