Awareness walk held to promote understanding of cyber crime

Hyderabad: To celebrate its 131st Foundation Day, Punjab National Bank (PNB) organized a special walkathon in Hyderabad to raise awareness about cyber safety.

The event was attended by K V M Prasad, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Cybercrime, Hyderabad, who was the Chief Guest. Chinmoy Kumar, Chief General Manager from the Reserve Bank of India, was the Special Guest. The walkathon was led by Sunil Kumar Chugh, Chief General Manager and Zonal Manager of PNB Hyderabad.

During the event, K V M Prasad spoke about the growing threat of cybercrimes. He stressed the importance of public awareness and encouraged people to stay alert and learn how to protect themselves while using the internet.

Chinmoy Kumar highlighted the need for teamwork between banks, regulators, and law enforcement to ensure safe digital banking. He praised PNB for its efforts in teaching customers and employees about online safety.
