India-England test match to have heightened security measures arranged by police

Hyderabad Police Commissioner Sudheer Babu held a review meeting with other police officials to discuss security arrangements for a five-day Test cricket match. The match will take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal from January 25 to 29.

During the meeting, the Commissioner instructed the officials to ensure necessary security measures are taken for the match. He emphasized the importance of making adequate security arrangements and ensuring the comfort of spectators. The Commissioner also stressed the need for clear ticket distribution and coordination with The Hyderabad Cricket Association.

The officials were directed to ensure proper precautions are taken for media personnel and others attending the match. Parking arrangements should be made to avoid inconvenience for the spectators, and CCTV cameras should be installed in and around the stadium. The Commissioner also emphasized the importance of transparent ticket distribution.

Several officials, including DCP Malkajgiri Padmaja, SB DCP Karunakar, Traffic DCP 1 Manohar, Admin DCP Indira, and Additional DCP Admin Srinivas Reddy, participated in the meeting.
