Gadwal: At a vibrant gathering in Kedram village, senior BJP leader S. Ramachandra Reddy praised India's progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Vijaya Sankalp meeting, organized by Mandal BJP President Gudur Nagaraju, saw attendance from several BJP leaders and supporters.
Reddy spoke passionately in front of Madhu Swamy's house, emphasizing, “Since Modi Ji took charge, India has grown immensely, rising from the 11th to the 4th largest economy globally.”
He detailed the BJP-led government's achievements over 11 years, highlighting:
– Over 55,000 kilometers of national highways built in the last decade compared to 91,287 km before 2014.
– Double railway lines, electrification, and station upgrades.
– Launch of high-speed trains like Vande Bharat Express.
– Increase in airports from 80 to 160.
– New medical colleges in every district and institutions like IITs and IIMs.
– Almost complete rural electrification.
– 4 crore houses constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
– Nationwide toilet construction, free ration distribution, and doubling MSP for farmers.
– PM-Kisan scheme for direct farmer support.
– Investments in rural, urban, and defense infrastructure.
Reddy reviewed the Bharatmala project's Chennai-Surat highway near the mandal, noting 52 km of highway construction costing ₹950 crore in the district.
He stressed that these projects showcase the Modi government's dedication to infrastructure and growth, especially in regions like Jogulamba Gadwal.
