    MLC M Kodandaram said Telangana is leading in providing quality education. He mentioned that award functions like these motivate everyone to work harder towards excellence. He also suggested that not just principals and vice-chancellors, but school teachers too should be recognized for their contributions.

    During the event, a catalogue for the upcoming Technical Education Fair was released. The fair will be held by HMTV from May 31 to June 1 in Hyderabad. JNTU Hyderabad won the Best Government Engineering College award. Kakatiya University was named the Best Government University (Pharmacy), and Osmania University received the Best Government University (Management) award.
