IndiGo has increased its Hyderabad to Madinah flights, offering daily services starting November 16. This change aims to enhance travel options to Saudi Arabia. Initially launched in February, this route serves pilgrims traveling for Haj and Umrah, as well as other passengers.
A new direct flight from Mumbai to Madinah will begin on November 15. IndiGo will operate these routes with Airbus A320 aircraft, providing affordable travel for religious pilgrims, business people, and tourists between India and Saudi Arabia. Tickets are now available on IndiGo’s website, app, and through authorized travel agents.
The airline currently runs over 150 flights linking India with Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, and Madinah. This expansion meets the rising demand from religious tourism, trade, and workforce movements between the two countries.

- Hyderabad to Madinah: Flight 6E 0057 departs at 19:35 IST, arriving at 23:45 AST; return flight 6E 0058 departs Madinah at 00:45 AST, arriving in Hyderabad at 08:10 IST.
- Mumbai to Madinah: Flight 6E 0059 departs at 22:05, arriving at 01:10 (+1 day); return flight 6E 0060 departs at 21:50, arriving at 04:45 (+1 day). All times are local.
Vinay Malhotra, IndiGo’s Head of Sales, expressed excitement about the new Mumbai-Madinah route, highlighting its importance for religious tourism. He added that these flights complement the existing Hyderabad-Madinah service, strengthening IndiGo’s network.
IndiGo, with a fleet of over 400 aircraft, operates more than 2,200 daily flights, connecting 90+ domestic and 40+ international destinations. In FY25, the airline transported over 118 million passengers and was awarded the title of ‘Best Airline in India and South Asia’ by Skytrax at the World Airline Awards 2025.
