Former minister A Indrakaran Reddy shocked the BRS party by joining Congress shortly after resigning. The event took place at Gandhi Bhavan, where he was welcomed into the party by AICC Telangana in-charge Deepa Dasmunshi.
Before joining Congress, Indrakaran Reddy had sent his resignation letter to BRS chief and former CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. On the same day, Vanasthalipuram corporator and BJP leader Ragula Venkateswar Reddy also switched sides to Congress and was welcomed by the CM.
These developments signify a shift in loyalties within the political landscape of Hyderabad.
