Mahabubnagar: Plans to set up a statue of the late actor 'Superstar' Krishna at the DEO Office Junction in Mahabubnagar have been stopped. This decision came after a complaint by social activist Diddi Praveen Kumar from the Nenu Saitham group.

The Mahabubnagar Municipal Commissioner, Maheshwar Reddy, responded by sending a written order to halt the statue’s installation.

Kumar strongly opposed the statue, arguing that it broke current regulations and did not have the necessary approvals. He also noted that it ignored Supreme Court guidelines about public installations. Kumar was pleased with the municipal authorities’ decision to officially prevent the statue from being unveiled.
