Irrigation Officer Nikhesh Kumar Arrested in Assets Case, Gets 4-Day Custody

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested Irrigation Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) Nikhesh Kumar in connection with a disproportionate assets case. He was taken into custody from Chanchalguda Jail after being accused of amassing illegal assets worth over Rs. 500 crore.

The court has granted the ACB permission to interrogate Nikhesh Kumar in custody for four days. Investigators allege that he accumulated wealth far beyond his known sources of income through illegal means.

The ACB plans to intensify its investigation to uncover the full extent of the illicit wealth. Officials are also looking into whether others were involved in these alleged activities.
