The BJP in Telangana is considering bringing down the Congress government led by A Revanth Reddy in the future. This comes after Minister Komatireddy Venkatreddy reportedly offered to play a role similar to Eknath Shinde of Telangana, which has caused a stir in political circles. Telangana BJP floor leader Maheshwar Reddy revealed this information during a media briefing, stating that Komatireddy made the offer during a meeting with Union Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda.

According to Maheshwar Reddy, Minister Komatireddy Venkatreddy had claimed that eight BJP MLAs were in contact with the Congress party. The BJP leaders accused the Congress of trying to divert attention from their failures by raising various issues. They also mentioned that the Congress government has a slim majority and five ministers are eyeing the chief minister’s position. There is a lack of trust among the ministers, and they are prepared to remove CM Revanth Reddy when the time is right.

The BJP leader warned that if the government attempts to take action against even one BJP MLA, the state government could collapse within 48 hours. He also mentioned that five ministers are in contact with the BJP. Despite this, the BJP has not supported any moves to destabilize the government, respecting the mandate given by the people.

Criticism was also directed towards Revanth Reddy for his alleged double standards. As PCC president, Revanth criticized BRS for admitting Congress MLAs without resigning, but he is now doing the same thing. Similarly, he demanded investigations into various irregularities as PCC president but has not pursued them since coming into power.

The BJP leader questioned why the government has not initiated a CBI probe into the phone tapping case and accused the state Congress of sending large sums of money to the high command as election funds. He also claimed that contractors and businessmen were being coerced into paying election taxes to the Congress. Despite these actions, he stated that the Congress candidate in Bhongir would not win the polls.
