YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and president of the YSR Congress Party, strongly criticized Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of the TDP, for his inflammatory comments. Speaking at a campaign rally in Bobbili, Jagan denounced Naidu’s recent remarks and questioned his mental state, particularly in light of Naidu’s statement about Jagan potentially being killed.
Jagan also highlighted various criticisms of Naidu’s political career, including allegations of betrayal and violence. He accused Naidu of using provocative language that could incite violence against political opponents, citing past incidents involving prominent TDP figures.
Furthermore, Jagan reminded the audience of derogatory comments Naidu had made about his late father, former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Jagan argued that Naidu’s history of resorting to inflammatory rhetoric when challenged demonstrated his unsuitability for leadership.
Despite the hostility directed towards him, Jagan expressed confidence in the support of the people of Andhra Pradesh. He assured his supporters that he would continue to lead with conviction and the backing of the people, emphasizing that he would not be deterred by Naidu’s words.
