Palakurthi Congress MLA M Yashaswini Reddy accused the BJP of trying to gain control over the entire country. She made these remarks while addressing party workers in Thorrur, Palakurthi constituency. Yashaswini claimed that the BJP is aiming to suppress people’s rights and warned that if the BJP wins a third term, they may take away voting rights from the citizens.
Yashaswini also criticized the BJP for taking credit for the MGNREGS program, which was actually initiated by the Congress Government to provide employment to rural residents. She pointed out that the previous BRS Government in the State had misused resources for nearly two decades. Yashaswini also criticized KCR for failing to fulfill his promise of making a Dalit the first chief minister of Telangana.
Furthermore, Yashaswini highlighted the failures of the BRS Government in providing double-bedroom houses and 2 acres of land to Dalits. She emphasized that the BRS Government, which performed poorly, has no right to criticize the five-month-old Congress Government. Yashaswini urged party members to support the Congress’ Lok Sabha candidate, Dr Kadiyam Kavya.
