Karimnagar BRS MP candidate Boinapalli Vinod Kumar believes that the Congress government may not last for five years due to growing opposition from the people. He expressed this view while campaigning in Vavilala village of Jammikunta mandal, where he participated in a road show with Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy. Vinod Kumar promised to bring a skill development center to Karimnagar and transform it into an education hub, along with establishing triple IT and Navodaya schools within five years if elected in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

During his previous term as MP from 2014 to 2019, Vinod Kumar claimed credit for bringing a smart city to Karimnagar at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore. He highlighted other projects completed during his tenure, such as the Kothapalli-Manoharabad railway, cable bridge construction on Manair river, development of the Manair river front, construction of an IT tower, and installation of night lights near Satavahana University. Vinod Kumar urged the people of Karimnagar to support him and send him back to Parliament.

Vinod Kumar criticized the Congress government for failing to fulfill its promises and losing credibility among the people. He warned that voting for Congress could result in Telangana being merged with Andhra Pradesh. MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy echoed these sentiments, claiming that CM Revanth Reddy and his mentor Chandrababu Naidu would conspire to merge Telangana with Andhra if the Congress party is voted into power. The campaign event also saw the participation of former Chairman of Tourism Corporation Gellu Srinivas, KDCCB Vice Chairman Ramesh, MPP Doddi Mamata Prasad, and others who expressed support for Vinod Kumar’s candidacy.
