Hyderabad: TPCC working president T Jagga Reddy announced that a movie will be made about his life, including a plot to murder him and how he managed to escape it. He shared this information while speaking informally with the media in Kandili, Sangareddy.

The movie will show three important stages of Reddy’s life: his time as a student leader, a municipal councillor, and later, a municipal chairman. Director Ramanujam is currently working on the script.

Reddy said that during his early days, he had no political background and faced serious financial difficulties. However, he gained strong support from the public. “Even with all the pressure, I stayed strong and climbed the political ladder,” he said.

He also made it clear that this will not be a love story. “There’s no love story in my life to show, but I do play a character who helps lovers,” Reddy said with a smile.

The movie will focus on the challenges he faced during different parts of his journey. These include pressure from the police, clashes with district officials, and a major conflict with a district collector that led to protests, road blockades, and eventually the collector’s transfer.

Reddy pointed out that he had no money or political influence at the time—only the support of committed party workers and the people. “I didn’t have money power, but I had people power,” he said.

Another actor will play Reddy’s role during the three main phases of his life. The film aims to show his struggles and how he rose through hard work and public support.
