Former minister and BRS MLA Harish Rao’s admiration for former prime minister PV Narasimha Rao has surprised Congress MLC Jeevan Reddy. Jeevan Reddy states that PV Narasimha Rao was a member of the Congress party and therefore BRS leaders have no right to speak about him.

Jeevan Reddy also mentions that PV Narasimha Rao served as Chief Minister and Prime Minister under the Congress party. He highlights that PV Narasimha Rao’s family requested his last journey to be conducted in Hyderabad, and it was done so with all honors. Jeevan Reddy criticizes BRS leaders for trying to claim credit for PV Narasimha Rao’s legacy and criticizing the Congress party.

Moving on to the Assembly sessions, Jeevan Reddy accuses BRS leaders of remaining silent on the illegal diversion of water from the Krishna River to Andhra Pradesh. He states that Telangana lost seven mandals in Bhadrachalam due to the failure of the BRS government. Jeevan Reddy also holds former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao responsible for Telangana losing its share in the Sileru Power Project. He claims that Telangana should have received 4,000 MW power through NTPC, but KCR’s inefficiency prevented the state from pressuring the Centre to set up a 2,600 MW power plant.
