Jharkhand Governor C P Radhakrishnan has taken on the role of Telangana Governor as well. He was sworn in by Chief Justice Alok Aradhe at a ceremony attended by various dignitaries including Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
Radhakrishnan expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve as Telangana Governor and promised to work diligently for the state’s betterment. He praised Telangana’s history, culture, and economy, highlighting its contributions in agriculture, IT, and healthcare sectors.
The Governor emphasized his commitment to fairness, integrity, and impartiality in his duties. He acknowledged the state’s successful implementation of welfare schemes and vowed to uphold democratic values.
Despite limitations imposed by the model code of conduct, Radhakrishnan urged the people of Telangana to work together for an inclusive and sustainable future. He is the third Governor of Telangana since its establishment in 2014.
