Hyderabad: The Ratha Yatra festival for Lord Jagannath was joyfully celebrated by the ISKCON Miyapur temple on Saturday night. Many devotees gathered to pull the deity’s chariot, seeking blessings from Lord Jagannath. The chariot, carrying Lord Jagannath, Balabadra, and Subhadra Matha, was drawn by a huge crowd. They chanted “Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare… Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare…” as they moved. Women decorated the path with vibrant rangolis.

The chariot journeyed through Chandanagar, Madinaguda, Alwyn Cross Road, Miyapur X Road, and JP Nagar, finally arriving at Vidhwanath Gardens. Serlingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi joined the event and conducted a puja. ISKCON Miyapur Temple President Sriram Das, Anand Prabhu, Vishnutatwa Das, along with ISKCON Life members Devishetty Srinivas, Gopiraju Srinivas, and many other devotees participated in the Yatra.
