Hyderabad: The Telangana Junior Doctors Association expressed gratitude towards the government for addressing their major concerns.
Association President Isac Newton announced that issues like stipend increases, regularization of stipends, and extending contracts for Senior Residents and government contract assistant professors have been resolved. He added that the government promised to improve infrastructure and facilities in all medical colleges across Telangana. Consequently, the planned strike set for June 30 has been called off. Dr. Newton emphasized their commitment to working with the state for the benefit of healthcare professionals and the advancement of medical education and services.
