Gadwal: Justice N. Premalatha, who leads the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), urges Gadwal residents to attend the National Lok Adalat on Saturday, September 13. This event at the Gadwal court will help settle pending cases quickly.
Justice Premalatha, speaking with Principal Senior Civil Judge V. Srinivas, explained that Lok Adalat provides a chance for fast and free justice. It will address various cases like minor criminal charges, civil disputes, property divisions, family issues, bank recoveries, cheque bounces, and road accident claims. If parties agree, any court fees paid will be refunded.
She emphasized the importance of this initiative, noting that the National Legal Services Authority uses Lok Adalats to ease the backlog of cases nationwide. Justice Premalatha advised against prolonging minor disputes in courts, calling compromise the best solution.
Highlighting past successes, she mentioned that 8,195 cases were resolved in earlier Lok Adalats, earning Gadwal the 11th spot in the state. Lok Adalat services are available daily, and the DLSA offers free legal aid and lawyers to ensure fair justice.
Justice Premalatha encouraged Gadwal residents to use the Lok Adalat to settle disputes and live peacefully.
