    The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) has announced that all junior colleges in the state will have holidays for Dasara (first term) from October 19 to 25. After the holidays, the colleges will reopen on October 26.

    The Board has instructed the principals of all junior colleges to strictly follow the holiday schedule. It has also directed the principals and managements of private unaided junior colleges not to hold any classes during the Dasara holidays.

    A senior officer has warned that any violations of these instructions will be taken seriously, and action, including disaffiliation, may be taken against the management of the erring colleges.
