Wanaparthy: On Saturday, a significant ceremony took place at Sanganenipalli in Wanaparthy district for the Gopaldinne-Singotam Link Canal project. Excise Minister and Kollapur MLA Jupally Krishna Rao led the event by performing the bhoomi pooja, marking the official start of the canal’s construction. This project requires an investment of Rs 120 crore.

The initiative fulfills a promise made before the elections, aiming to supply irrigation water to local farmers. The canal will help transform the Chinnambavi and Veepanagandla mandals into fertile lands.
