Kothagudem: The Singareni general managers have received new instructions to enhance coal quality for consumers. They are now required to halt the transport of G14 and G15 grade coal. Instead, they should focus on supplying G13 grade coal, which is of higher quality.
On Saturday, CMD N Balaram held a meeting with the company’s directors and general managers. He noted a challenge for small-scale industries. These businesses find it difficult to source small amounts of coal directly from Singareni regions. To address this, officials have been asked to consider establishing a coal sales center near Hyderabad.
Additionally, Balaram emphasized the need for immediate action to secure permissions. These permissions are necessary to set up a quarry for gathering sand from the Godavari river. This sand will be used for sand stowing in underground mines located in the Bhupalapally area.
