The National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) questioned Kaleshwaram officials from the State Irrigation department about the Medigadda, Annaram, and Sundilla barrages. The NDSA committee, led by Chandrashekar, visited the sites for three days and then met with officials at the Jala Soudha headquarters.

During the meeting, all engineers working on the Kaleshwaram projects were asked to provide data on the barrages. NDSA officials requested documents such as agreements between the State government and contract agencies. The Central Design Organisation in the Irrigation department was also instructed to share project designs, construction execution details, and any variations by the following week.
