Karimnagar District Appoints Two Ministers

Two legislators from the erstwhile Karimnagar district have been appointed to the State cabinet in Telangana. Duddilla Sridhar Babu, a former MLA from Manthani constituency and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, has become the State Minister. He entered politics after his father’s death and has won elections five times. Ponnam Prabhakar, a senior Congress leader from Karimnagar, has also been appointed as a state minister. He has been actively involved in the fight for Telangana statehood and recently won as MLA from Husnabad. The people of Karimnagar are celebrating their appointments.
