Karimnagar Engineer Honored with Indian Icon Award

Eda Kumaraswamy, an Executive Engineer from the Irrigation Department in Karimnagar, has won the prestigious ‘Indian Icon Award 2024.’ This award was given by the Global Excellence Forum, an NGO associated with the Government of India. The forum honors individuals who have excelled in fields like social service and engineering across various states and countries.

Kumaraswamy received the award during the 5th edition of a special ceremony held at Hotel Le Meridian in New Delhi. At the event, he was presented with a trophy, medal, citation, and shawl. Several prominent figures attended the ceremony, including Member of Parliament Ravinder Narayana Mehra, Kerala’s Director General of Police Ashok, and the Founder President of the Global Excellence Forum, Dr. Ravi Jitendrakumar.

Following his achievement, Kumaraswamy received congratulations from many people, including representatives of various organizations, his engineering colleagues, and his family. Notable individuals such as Dr. Elagandula Srinivas from Vasudeva Hospital, Engineer Kola Anna Reddy, Dr. Gali Pelli Nageshwar (District 137A Governor), and other leaders like Ch Venkateshwarlu, Chikoti Srinivas Gandhi, and K. Mahesh also extended their congratulations.
