Hyderabad: The BRS leader K Kavitha criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Raksha Bandhan gift” of reducing Rs 200 per cylinder for women. She accused the Central government of playing with people’s emotions by claiming to provide relief while pocketing huge profits from increased cooking gas prices. Kavitha pointed out that over the past ten years, the BJP government raised prices by Rs 800 and now only reduced it by Rs 200. She emphasized that this reduction is not a gift but rather a manipulation of people’s emotions.
