The Enforcement Directorate in New Delhi has sent notices to Dr. Anil Kumar, the husband of BRS MLC K Kavitha, regarding the Delhi liquor scam. PRO Rajesh and two other assistants have also received notices and their phones have been confiscated. They are required to appear before the ED on Monday.
According to the ED, Kavitha’s husband used kickback money to buy land worth around Rs 5.5 crore. Some of the land is said to be in the name of Ashok Boinapally.
The investigation is ongoing and more details may emerge as the case progresses.
