KCR believes White Coat Revolution will safeguard Telangana

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao stated that the white coat revolution will protect Telangana. He virtually inaugurated nine medical colleges in Telangana from Pragathi Bhavan. Previously, there were only five medical colleges in the state, but now there is one medical college per district. Chandrashekar Rao compared the importance of white coats to white blood cells, emphasizing their role as a shield for Telangana.

The chief minister expressed pride in the inspirational health sector of Telangana, which has become a role model for the country. He mentioned that rulers in undivided Andhra Pradesh doubted the ability of Telangana to govern, but the state has proven them wrong. Along with the medical colleges, nursing colleges will also be established in all districts.

The newly inaugurated medical colleges are located in Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Karimnagar, Kamareddy, Khammam, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Nirmal, Rajanna Sircilla, Vikarabad, and Jangaon. Health Minister T Harish Rao highlighted the historical significance of starting nine medical colleges in a single day. Last year, eight medical colleges were established in the state. He praised Chief Minister KCR for his efforts in ensuring every district has a medical college and congratulated the students joining the courses.
