The Tollywood drugs case has resurfaced once again. A few years ago, there were allegations that people in the Telugu industry were involved in drug use. Many names were mentioned and investigating agencies have called them in for questioning. Navdeep’s name has come up once again in the latest list.
Recently, the Hyderabad Narcotics Police raided an apartment in Madhapur Fresh Living and arrested film financier Venkat and several others. Based on the information given by those arrested, the police apprehended a few more individuals. Some others are still on the run.
One of the arrested individuals from the film industry, named Ramachandra, provided the police with more names during interrogation. Ramachandra specifically mentioned the name of hero Navdeep.
Ramachandra admitted to the police that he and Navdeep organized a drug party and consumed drugs together. The police attempted to apprehend Navdeep but he was not at his home. Navdeep informed the police that he was in Gandipet. As of now, Navdeep is still on the run, along with eight other drug consumers.
The Hyderabad Narcotic Police are actively trying to capture them. Navdeep’s name has been repeatedly mentioned in the drug case. In 2017, Navdeep appeared before the investigating agencies regarding the Tollywood drug case. He owns a popular pub in Hyderabad. However, during a recent press conference, the police stated that Navdeep is currently absconding.
When contacted by the media, Navdeep denied running away and claimed to be in Hyderabad. However, it is reported that the police are preparing to issue notices to Navdeep.
