After Finance Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka presented the Telangana budget in the Assembly today, BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) voiced his dissatisfaction with the state’s financial plan. He called it “far from reality.”

Following the assembly session, KCR spoke to the media. He stated that the budget lacks new initiatives and substance. He argued that the government simply repeated the previous budget without providing a full understanding of the state’s economy.

“There is nothing new in this budget,” KCR said. He insisted that the government should explain all parts of the budget thoroughly. He criticized the lack of welfare schemes and expressed anger, claiming the Congress party is acting like an “enemy government.”
